- ઉક્ત ઉમેદવારોની પ્રાથમિક કસોટી તારીખ: ૧૨/૧૦/૨૦૧૪ના રોજ યોજવામાં આવેલ હતી. જેમાં કુલ ૨,૩૯,૮૦૬ ઉમેદવારો ઉપસ્થિત રહેલ હતા. જેનું પરિણામ તા. ૨૦/૦૮/૨૦૧૫ના રોજ પ્રસિધ્ધ કરવામાં આવેલ હતું. જે મુજબ ભરવાની થતી કુલ જગ્યાના આશરે ૦૬ ગણા અનુસાર કુલ ૨૯૬૦ ઉમેદવારોને મુખ્ય લેખિત પરીક્ષા માટે પાત્ર જાહેર કરવામાં આવેલ હતા. ત્યારબાદ કાનૂની વિવાદ થતાં નામ. વડી અદાલતના તારીખ: ૨૬/૦૨/૨૦૧૬ના ચૂકાદા મુજબ આ પરિણામને રીવાઈઝ કરી કુલ જગ્યાના આશરે ૨૫ ગણા અનુસાર કુલ ૧૨,૧૧૭ ઉમેદવારોને મુખ્ય લેખિત પરીક્ષા માટે પાત્ર ગણવામાં આવેલ હતા.

- ઉક્ત ઉમેદવારોની મુખ્ય લેખિત પરીક્ષા તારીખ : ૧૦, ૧૧ અને ૧૮ સપ્ટેમ્બર, ૨૦૧૬ના રોજ આયોજિત કરવામાં આવેલ હતી. જેમાં કુલ ૮,૬૫૬ ઉમેદવારો ઉપસ્થિત રહેલ હતા.

- સદર પરીક્ષાનું પરિણામ તારીખ: ૧૦/૦૪/૨૦૧૭ ના રોજ જાહેર કરવામાં આવેલ છે. જેના આધારે કુલ ૧૪૫૯ ઉમેદવારોની રૂબરૂ મુલાકાત, કુલ ચાર ઈન્ટરવ્યુ બોર્ડમાં દરરોજ કુલ ૮૦ ઉમેદવારો લેખે તારીખ: ૨૩/૦૪/૨૦૧૭ થી તારીખ: ૨૦/૦૫/૨૦૧૭ દરમ્યાન આયોજિત કરવામાં આવેલ હતી.

- તદ્દુપરાંત, નામ.વડી અદાલતના તારીખ: ૦૮/૦૫/૨૦૧૭, તારીખ: ૧૨/૦૫/૨૦૧૭, તારીખ: ૧૭/૦૫/૨૦૧૭ અને તારીખ: ૦૮/૦૬/૨૦૧૭ના કુલ ચાર અલગ-અલગ આદેશો મુજબ અનુક્રમે અંગ્રેજી સાહિત્ય-વૈકલ્પિક વિષયના ૮૧ તેમજ ભૂસ્તરશાસ્ત્ર-વૈકલ્પિક વિષયનો ૦૧ એમ કુલ ૮૨ ઉમેદવારની રૂબરૂ મુલાકાત આયોજિત કરવામાં આવેલ હતી.

- અત્રે ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, ઈન્ટરવ્યુ બૉર્ડમાં સામેલ નિષ્ણાંતોને જે-તે દિવસે ઈન્ટરવ્યુ પહેલાં જ ,ડ્રો દ્વારા, બૉર્ડ ફાળવવામાં આવતા હતા. તેવી જ રીતે ઉમેદવારોને પણ જે-તે દિવસે ઈન્ટરવ્યુ પહેલાં ડ્રો દ્વારા બૉર્ડ ફાળવ્યા બાદ તેમની ઓળખ પ્રછન્ન રહે તે માટે અન્ય એક ડ્રો દ્વારા યુનિક કોડ ફાળવવામાં આવેલ હતા.

- ઉપરોક્ત પરીક્ષાનું આખરી પરિણામ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યુ છે, જેમાં ૩૧૫ પુરુષ ઉમેદવાર, ૧૩૫ મહિલા ઉમેદવાર, ૦૮ શારીરીક અશક્ત ઉમેદવાર અને ૦૨ માજી સૈનિક ઉમેદવાર પસંદગી થવા પામ્યા છે. ઉક્ત પરીક્ષાની મુખ્ય લેખિત પરિક્ષાના પેપર-૪ અને પેપર-૫ હેતુલક્ષી પ્રકારના હતા.
